Schematic Design Documents consist of drawings and other documents illustrating the scale and relationship of the project components.
Design Development Documents consist of drawings and other documents to fix and describe the size and character of the components; the hardscape and the softscape.
“Working Drawings” are shown graphically. Dimensions, arrangements and locations of project components and details are indicated on the drawings. They represent design elements in plan, elevation or cross sectional views. “Specifications” specify type and quality of materials, describe acceptable workmanship and installation practices, detail short-term maintenance, inspection procedures, guarantees and substitutions.
